What to Know Before You Go to KAABOO Cayman

It’s almost time to dive in! You’ve seen the lineup, you’ve redeemed (or are about to redeem) your passes, and now it’s time for the main event. The music, comedy, culinary, art, and indulgences are just days away, so here’s a few last tips to ensure you and your crew enjoy as much of KAABOO as possible.

If you’re arriving from outside Cayman, don’t forget your passport

We cannot emphasize this enough. You will need your passport in order to successfully and smoothly enter Grand Cayman, so please put that passport where it won’t be left behind.

Is your lodging all set?

On the off chance you haven’t had a chance to make your lodging reservation, here are just a few places we think will be perfect for your stay in Grand Cayman.

Fulfill your passes at the box office before the event

Once you’ve arrived in Grand Cayman, your next step is to redeem your passes. Wristbands can be picked up at the box office located at Regatta Office Park Leeward 1 (opposite the Westin) starting February 2, 2019, and at the Arrivals Terminal of Owen Roberts International Airport starting February 9, 2019. You can also pick up your wristbands at the onsite box office at Gate 1 starting February 14, 2019. Learn more about wristband fulfillment times and locations here.

What to bring/leave at home

Smaller items like beach towels/blankets, bags under 18”x12”x8”, empty water bottles, binoculars, strollers, Go Pros (no poles or extenders, please!), wheelchairs and medical scooters, and non-aerosol sunscreen are permitted. Chairs, tents, stools, pets (other than certified service animals), coolers, illegal substances and paraphernalia, weapons of any kind, and large bags are NOT permitted. THATCH (GA) guests have the option of parking at the South Parking Lot south of the Seafire. If you don’t plan on driving, there are plenty of other ways to get to KAABOO.
