Recycling + Sustainability
Designed with the Planet in Mind
KAABOO Cayman has partnered with Kilowatt Events, the PangeaSeed Foundation, and a number of local experts to ensure that production is steered towards sustainable design. In addition to our efforts around waste and recycling, a full carbon analysis of our production will be conducted and offset into community climate projects.
KAABOO Cayman cares about our island resources, and waste is no exception. To limit our impacts, we will be separating our waste into SEVEN streams—but don’t fret, you only need to pay attention to three:
- Plastic #1/#2
Please play your part by properly sorting your waste, and don’t forget your swell / reusable water bottle so that you can stay cool and hydrated with our free water refill stations!
We would love to hear your voice so that we can continue adapting this program around the most important Cayman needs. For more information, please email email@example.com.
MEET OUR SUSTAINABILITY PARTNERS
PangeaSeed Foundation’s mission is to empower individuals and communities to create meaningful environmental change for oceans through ARTivism, education, and science.
They forge a synthesis between creative expression, nature, and society to (re)connect individuals and communities with our planet’s most important ecosystem by following our core values of sustainability, education, ecology, and design.
Kilowatt One is the internal event sustainability division of Kilowatt Events with a mission to minimize the negative environmental externalities and maximize the positive social impacts of live experiences around the world. We envision a world in which all entertainment is produced with a net-zero impact philosophy while using its platform to educate, inspire, and activate its audience on global issues and their local solutions.
